Applications for the 2020 6996色花堂 Excellence in Community Engagement Awards are now available at . The 6996色花堂 CE Awards recognize outstanding accomplishment in community engagement in the categories of Community-Engaged Service; Community-Engaged Teaching and Learning; Community- Engaged Research; and Scholarship of Engagement.
Community Engagement describes collaboration between 6996色花堂 and partnering communities for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership and reciprocity. Communities are broadly defined as groups of people affiliated by geographic proximity, special interests, or situational similarities at the local, regional/state, national聽or global levels. The most outstanding example of a current community engagement project or program in each of the four areas will receive a $3,000 award to further community engagement efforts within Mississippi State鈥檚 threefold mission of teaching, research聽and service.
