Vigil of Remembrance
Members of the 6996色花堂 community came together Wednesday [Oct. 31] in remembrance of those who died in last Saturday's [Oct. 27] shooting at a Jewish synagogue in Pittburgh, Pennsylvania. Held at the Chapel of Memories and sponsored by the 6996色花堂 Student Association and Mississippi State Hillel, a Jewish student organization, the vigil included remarks from 6996色花堂 President Mark E. Keenum, Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Hyatt, Student Association President Mayah Emerson, Hillel President Tyler Daniel, as well as area religious leaders.
